New starter alert! Meet Holly Redden
Our Sydney team has added a new member – meet Irish native Holly Redden! With over four years’ recruitment experience in both agency and in-house roles, including Dell Ireland, she’s a great addition to the team.
We sat down and had a chat with Holly so you can get to know her a little better.
What do you do at Creative Natives?
I am a Consultant, matching amazing candidates within the Product Management / Delivery / Strategy space with creative agencies and businesses across Sydney.
Why did you want to join the team?
Culture and values 100%. I came across Ryan’s LinkedIn profile while I was in Ireland and just loved his engaging, educational posts. I spent hours looking through the team’s LinkedIn content as I loved their energy and forward thinking ideas. I remember thinking to myself, ‘these guys are ahead of the game’ and I knew I had to be a part of it.
What do you love about recruitment?
Talking with people all day, every day. Anyone who knows me, or gets to know me, knows that I am a chatterbox and would talk to the wall if there was no one else to speak to! In this job I get to speak with candidates and clients all day – even if they do have sore ears afterwards. I also love that no two days are the same, it’s so exciting.
If you weren’t a recruiter, what would you be doing?
Oooh this is a toughy… I would love to be in event management or something fitness/sports related.
What are you watching/listening to/reading right now?
I’m a bit of an odd creature and don’t really watch, read or listen to anything in particular. People always ask why what do you do in your spare time – I tell them playing sports, going for walks, playing with my dogs (they’re back in Ireland and I miss them so much!), meeting up with friends or watching TikToks.
Cats or dogs?
Dogs all day, every day!! I am slightly obsessed. I will add that my service offering includes free dog rubs/walks/visits for any candidates/clients.
What’s the best holiday you’ve been on?
Oh, another a tough one. I absolutely love travelling and have travelled to close to 20 countries so far. If I had to pick my top three holidays, they would be San Diego for three months with my boyfriend, Barbados for a girls holiday and up the east coast of Australia with all my friends from home.
Do you have a hidden talent?
I would love to say yes, but unfortunately I’m going to have to admit I’m basic – I don’t.
