New starter alert! Meet Kristen Gallagher

Meet our newest member of the team, Kristen Gallagher! A recruiter in another life, now she’s here to help our team with everything personal development, training and internal processes. She’s an absolute whiz and we’re over the moon that she’s joined our team.

We sat down and had a chat with Kristen so you can get to know her a little better.

What is your role at Creative Natives?

I focus on people and operations. My role is to work with each of the team on their personal development and career paths and assist with training, internal process and procedures. Ultimately, I’m here to ensure that the team is happy, kicking some ass and set up for success!

Why did you want to join the team?

Having been in the industry for some time, I had followed Creatives Natives and knew it was a solid brand with a strong market reputation. After chatting with Ryan, I found that the values of the business mirrored my own. Creative Natives has a super positive and supportive working environment, especially when it comes to parent’s returning to work, and that was something I wanted to be a part of. After meeting all the team now and spending a week in the business, I can tell it is a very special place with a dedicated team and I feel grateful to be a part of it.

If you weren’t in people management, what would you do?

Possibly publishing in some way shape or form – I love my books!

If you could be a guest on any podcast, what would it be and why?

I’m a pretty tragic Bravo TV viewer. So it would have to be Stassi or Lala’s podcast (IYKYK), or Simon Sinek’s podcast, ‘A bit of optimism’. Not sure what value I could add here (ha!) but I’d love to chat with him.

What are you watching / listening to / reading right now?

Watching ‘From’ on Stan and I’m ALWAYS watching ‘Below Deck.’ Reading ‘Not Now, Not Ever’ that a lovely friend gave to me, and I always have at least 2-3 romance books on rotation. Enjoying listening to ‘The Recruitment Mentor’s’ podcast too.

Cats or Dogs

Both equally!

Best holiday you’ve been on?

Probably the most memorable holiday I’ve had was traveling around Europe with my Mum for three months when I was 22. We visited Poland together, which was very special. Also, a three week trip to Italy for a friend’s wedding in 2014, with my now husband Pat and our group of friends, which was absolutely epic!

Keen to chat with Kristen about the latest book she’s reading or what she’s up to here at Creative Natives? You can connect with her on LinkedIn.
